Jean Robert Alexis
Jean-Robert Alexis is from the Artibonite department. He learned drawing and painting alongside the artist Ismaël Saincilus, his mentor. In 2012, he entered ENARTS for a plastic arts course. In the meantime, he frequents the workshops of the founders of the “Atis rezistans” Movement while being academic. He devotes himself over time to recovery art, via various types of materials. He is inspired by history, mythology, Native American culture. In 2018, he made an aesthetic change; and participates in several workshops, especially "RE-VIZITE" (2018), which gave rise to an exhibition at the Centre d'Art and at the IFH. He already has some certificates of honor and merit from organizations like the Club for Unesco for Art & letters of Achaia, and International Artistic Cultural & Scientific Organization.
